They arrived as whimsical whispers, drifting like echoes at the edges of my mind. But as I lay cocooned in the warmth of my bed and the drowsy haze of sleep, they became insistent—rising in urgency, pulling me from the depths of slumber.
Often sleep-deprived, yet ever resourceful, I reached for my cell phone and quickly texted a note to myself, determined to accomplish this task after fully rested. Rolling back over, I tucked into my cozy oasis—but BAM! There it was again—this time, even more persistent than before. The powerful nudges refused to be ignored. Whispers became visions, beckoning me toward immediate details.
Today, as I rose and stepped into this new day, I felt the familiar weight of thoughts and to-dos pressing in. I made my way to the kitchen and prepared a warm beverage letting it embrace the chill away. Isn’t it something— how the sacred stillness of morning wraps the world in its hush, as if holding its breath, waiting for grace to unfold?
Before anything else—before the rush of the tasks and responsibilities—I paused. I turned my heart to Him aligning my spirit with His. And in that moment, I was reminded: I never walk alone.
The morning fog, both in the world and in my spirit, began to lift as His truth settled deep. Isaiah 41:10 emerged with clarity, like the first light of dawn breaking through the mist.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
How often do we rush into the day without first anchoring ourselves in this truth? How often do we forget that strength is not something we must create on our own—but something we receive, freely, from the One who holds us?
Today, may you pause before the rush of the world. May you turn your heart toward Him, and may you remember—you never walk alone.
What would change for you, if you started each new day anchored in His presence? I invite you to pause today, even if only for a moment, and feel the strength of the One who holds you. My hope for you is that His presence quiets your worries. His strength carries you securely within your day. That His love reminds you—that He is always near.
Rest in Him today, my friends. He is near.
Love, Light, and Hugs,
Tina
